Research On Consumer Health Information Service Strategy Of Medical Library

With the development of social economy and the improvement of the level of scientific and technological culture,people's understanding of health has been gradually deepened,health awareness has been continuously enhanced,and the demand for health information has also shown an increasing trend.The 2016 "China's Internet Community Popularity Needs Search Behavior Report" jointly issued by the China Association for Science and Technology,Baidu,and the China Popular Science Research Institute showed that the search rate for "Health and Medical" topics was 53.78%.It ranks first among all popular science search topics.Studies have shown that access to public health information can improve communication between patients and their health care providers,and encourage patients to make better health care decisions.Public access to health information improves health literacy and promotes the health of residents.It plays an important role in the way of behavior,improving the health of residents and promoting health and equity.The Chinese government also attaches great importance to the health education and health promotion of citizens.In the "Healthy China" 2030 Plan Outline,"Strengthening Health Education and Improving People's Health Literacy" is an important part of advancing the construction of a healthy China.It is proposed that by 2030,the national health literacy should be greatly improved and the healthy lifestyle should be universally popularized.However,the monitoring results of China's residents' health literacy in 2016 showed that the level of Chinese residents' health literacy is 11.58%,which is still a certain distance from the 20%target of healthy China 2020.Firstly,the low status of public health literacy affects the public's identification,acquisition and use of quality health information to some extent.Secondly,the health information disseminated on the Internet,which is the main means for public health information acquisition,is confusing and redundant.It is of great confusion for the public to accurately obtain quality health information.Finally,the authoritative health information resources generated by China's health education institutions are scattered across the websites of various health education departments,which is inconvenient for the public to search and use.The above problems affect the public's access to authoritative and accurate high-quality health information,and the public's health information needs are difficult to be effectively met.As a professional medical intelligence agency,the Medical Library has a wealth of high-quality Chinese and English medical resources,library science,information science,medicine,and pharmaceutical professionals,as well as more advanced equipment,network facilities,and mature technologies.The medical library has the unique advantage of providing health information services to the public.The successful practical experience of medical libraries in some developed countries in the field of public health information services shows that medical libraries play an important role in improving the health literacy of residents.The public health information service of China's medical library is still in its infancy,and there is a big gap between the level of public health information services in Chinese and foreign medical libraries.Therefore,this article selects the "Research on Consumer Health Information Service Strategy of Medical Library" as the title,and explores the feasible strategies of the public health information service in our country's medical library,so as to provide reference for the development of public health information service in our country's medical library.The main content of this article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.First of all,through the explanation of the research background,purpose and significance of this paper,we will explain the research basis of the study.Then introduced the main content of this study and the main methods of application,proposed the technical route and innovation of the research,and summarized the research status in the field at home and abroad.Finally,the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of this study are combed,and the "SWOT-E" analysis model based on information ecosystem is proposed.The second part is based on the information ecosystem theory,constructs the public health information ecosystem,and summarizes the ecological decision-making factors of public health information by analyzing the constituent elements of the system one by one.In the third part,the basic ideas of SWOT analysis were used.Through the current status of public health information services in Chinese medical libraries and the survey of librarians,the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,and challenges of developing public health information services in Chinese medical libraries were proposed.The fourth part is a case study of the successful cases of public health information services in foreign medical libraries,summarizing the successful experiences of foreign countries,and providing reference for the study to propose public health information service strategies for medical libraries in China.The fifth part is based on the SWOT analysis of the public health information service of medical libraries in China,adding the decision-making factors(E)of public health information ecology,and presenting the public view of public health information system of medical libraries from the perspective of "SWOT-E" analysis.The health information service strategy recommendations include four types of suggestions:strengthening the construction of public health information resources,carrying out various forms of public health information services,focusing on cooperation with external forces,and establishing public health information service management and protection mechanisms.
