With the rapid development of economy and society,the increasing water demand and the expanding scale of water supply network,the actual water flow state in the network is becoming more and more complex and changeable.It is more and more difficult to analyze and predict by manual work.In order to improve the service and management level of water supply enterprises,the hydraulic model system of water supply network is providing more and more water.Water enterprises have been applied.The establishment and application of the hydraulic model of water supply network are usually divided into two steps:collecting and arranging the data of the basic pipeline network,building the reservoir and using the hydraulic model software to simulate and analyze[1].Because most of the modeling software on the market can not be combined with the GIS platform,and can not directly use the data of the pipeline network in the existing GIS platform,and the water supply systems of different cities are also very different from each other.In addition,the understanding and application of the hydraulic model system by model applicants are not entirely consistent,so the application of business modeling is in progress.Before the system,it usually needs to re-collect the data of the pipeline network,which needs to be redeveloped according to the current situation of the water supply enterprises and the needs of users,thus increasing the cost of use.This paper mainly studies the design and implementation of the urban water supply network management system based on ArcGIS.Using the existing pipeline GIS data results and geophysical data,it is sorted out and modeled.On the basis of the investigation and analysis of the demand of Lhasa water supply hydraulic model business,the overall structure design and detailed design of the system are carried out.The EPANET computing engine of the source is combined with the ArcGIS platform of ESRI and developed in C#language.Finally,the design of micro-hydraulic model system of urban water supply based on ArcGIS is realized.This paper introduces the three parts of the hydraulic model system and its implementation process.Finally,the hydraulic model system is used to simulate and calculate the water supply conditions,and to realize the business applications such as tube burst analysis and fire fighting analysis.The system has successfully realized the combination of GIS platform and EPANET hydraulic computing engine.Through the system,the visualization advantage of GIS can be used to quickly complete the modeling and display the results of hydraulic model calculation by means of GIS rendering,and good application results have been achieved.
