Since the advent of WeChat in 2011,after seven years of rapid development,it has penetrated into every aspect of people's daily life.WeChat's convenient communication function and high quality service make it easier for the middle-aged and elderly users to use it,and many middle-aged and elderly users are exposed to more mobile Internet products and services with WeChat and WeChat platform power.WeChat has changed their way of life.Middle age is the transition period from youth to old age.It is also the most important stage to realize self value and social value.In short,middle age is an important stage of the development process of life.To investigate the basic situation of middle-aged people's use of WeChat,analyze whether WeChat meets the needs of middle-aged people,and meet what needs of middle-aged people,and what factors affect middle-aged people's satisfaction with WeChat is the core issue of this paper.This study uses “the satisfaction degree of middle-aged people with WeChat” as a theme,and builds a “satisfaction degree of WeChat” research model based on the combination of use and satisfaction theory,technology acceptance model,and WeChat's functions and distinguishing features.The author publishes the questionnaire for WeChat users aged 36 to60 and statistically analyzes valid data to understand the basic situation of middle-aged users using WeChat,to confirm whether WeChat meets the needs of middle-aged users and meets what needs of middle-aged users,to verify what factors affect middle-aged users' satisfaction with WeChat,and based on the results of correlation analysis and regression analysis of research data,tests the research hypothesis,modifies the research model,and finally gets the following conclusions: First,the social and economic needs of middle-aged people for WeChat positively affect that middle-aged people feel the ease of use of WeChat.Second,the information,entertainment and economic needs of middle-aged people for WeChat positively affect that middle-aged people feel the usefulness of WeChat.Third,the social and economic needs of middle-aged people for WeChat positively affect that middle-aged people feel thecredibility of WeChat.Fourth,middle-aged people feel that the ease of use of WeChat positively affects the usefulness of WeChat felt by middle-aged people.Fifth,middle-aged people feel that the ease of use,usefulness,and credibility of WeChat positively affect the satisfaction of middle-aged people with WeChat.This paper combines the use and satisfaction theory of communication and the technology acceptance model in the field of information technology,aiming at studying the particularity of middle-aged people,trying to fill the vacancy of WeChat research in user age,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.
