The Signal and Power Integrity(SPI)issues in the high-speed high-density hybrid PCB circuit become increasingly prominent.To solve these problems,the SPI simulation models play a decisive role.Based on the simulation model,this paper studies and simulates the SPI problems in the design of the navigation receiver designed by the author.the IBIS model used in SPI simulation is briefly introduced,and then differences between IBIS model and Spice model in SPI simulation as well as the deficiencies of IBIS in SSN simulation are brought forward.Then,based on the previous researches,the IBIS model is improved structurally to improve the accuracy in SSN simulation.At the same time,the static expansion and dynamic expansion of the IBIS model are formulated.As for the dynamic expansion,both power and ground rather than merely power are taken into consideration.Moreover,the static and dynamic expansion are combined to more accurately simulate SSN.A navigation receiver has been designed in this paper.And By employing ADS software,the SI of the RF front end LNA is analyzed in detail.The crosstalk of several different differential serpentine traces is studied and it is found that the influence of the crosstalk of arc bending is minimal.Then,with the aid of Cadence software,the reflection,crosstalk,EMI and other SI issues on the DDR part as well as SSN and target impedance PI issues are simulated.The results show that In the design,pay attention to the impedance match,short the length of the trace and the stub and minimize the use of vias can obtain better Signal Integrity.Moreover,the power supply impedance can be effectively reduced by the capacitor.In case of higher speed,back drilling or buried blind vias can be taken into account,and the decoupling capacitor lead should be as short as possible,and vias should be as close to the pad as possible.If necessary,can use Via on pad technology can be adopted.
