With the rapid development of semiconductor technology,Beidou navigation receiver becomes more highly integrated and more high-speed.Therefore,the key to improve the stability and expedite the development of Beidou receiver comes with the question of how to solve the signal integrity problems caused by high speed circuit and shorten development cycle.Taking Beidou navigation receiver as the target,starting with the signal integrity theory,the mechanism and solution of the reflection and crosstalk in the receiver by simulation tool are studied and analysed.Meanwhile,a design method of Beidou navigation receiver is introduced based on EDA tools in order to resolve the deficiency of traditional circuit design process.Besides,an IBIS simulation model optimization method based on the least square method is proposed and validated,and eventually the design and verification of the Beidou navigation receiver are completed.The signal integrity theory and transmission line theory are studied,the physical model of transmission line is established and the two characteristics of transmission line are analysed.From the perspective of the circuit theory,the mechanism of reflection is illustrated and the influence of capacitive and inductive load discontinuity on signal quality and timing is studied by means of simulation tools.From the perspective of the energy coupling,the mechanism of crosstalk is analyzed.Using the capacitance matrix of field solver,the influence of different factors on the mutual capacitance and mutual inductance is discussed,including the comprehensive influence of capacitive coupling and inductive coupling on signal qualities combined with the circuit theory.In combination with the EDA tools,based on the analysis of the suppression effect of different termination schemes and topology on the reflection in the receiver,the influence of the length of the transmission line and the end pile line is examined,the conclusion is validated that the rise / fall time is the root cause of the reflection.The main factors that affect the crosstalk are analyzed and compared in detail through the simulation tools,and a series of measures to reduce crosstalk are summed up combined with experimental results.A method of Beidou navigation receiver is proposed based on signal integrity analysis and the way how to use Cadence to design and simulate the receiver is studied.By means of comparing different simulation models,an IBIS model optimization method based on the least square method is proposed according to the IBIS model structure and the modeling principle.The simulation results present that the optimized model can shorten the simulation time while ensure the accuracy of the simulation.After studying the principle diagram design and PCB design of the Beidou navigation receiver,a “RF front-end +FPGA+DSP” receiver is designed by using the signal integrity analysis method,the software simulation platform is seted up,the key networks of the system are simulated before and after routing,and the topologies are optimized.From this it is verified that the method of signal integrity analysis can greatly shorten the design cycle and save the development cost.
