Research On VoLTE Network Optimization Key Performance And Its Applications

To meet the various and differentiated service experience requirements in the mobile Internet environment,many telecom operators such as China Mobile have introduced Voice over Long Term Evolution(VoLTE)services.VoLTE is an end-to-end LTE network based voice solution with high reliability,high integration and low deployment cost,etc.With the accelerating of VoLTE commercialization and rapid increasing of the customer numbers,some Key Performance Indicators(KPI)and their optimization for VoLTE network have become the focus of the industry.This thesis presents a comprehensive research on KPI optimization in VoLTE network based on the actual network engineering examples.This thesis introduces the fundamental principles of the development of VoLTE network,the solution of LTE voice,the theoreotical concepts of VoLTE and its characteristics,firstly.Then,combined with VoLTE's basic business model and signaling flow,the KPIs of VoLTE key network are researched and analyzed,some typical KPIs in typical provinces are taken as the starting point to optimize the key KPIs.A variety of research methods are implemented to provide theoretical optimizing for VoLTE end-to-end voice KPI,and the actual engineering project results verified the improvement of the network quality and customer satisfaction.
