With the rapid development of mobile communication technology,LTE as the main direction of the evolution in mobile communication system has been widely used in the world. Voice service is the most important service for many elecommunication operators,and undertaking by VoLTE int LTE system.In order to ensure a high quality voice service, how to allocate and schedule the wireless resources is becoming the key research point.In this paper, based on the researching and analyzing of Ericsson’s existing scheduling mechanism on LTE,an optimization and improvement is proposed combining the network congestion’s current situation.And verified the proposed performance optimization’s effectiveness through the simulation data contrast. Specifically, with the network congestion scene,the improvement on Ericsson’s existing scheduling mechanism do the following work:1,The paper analyzes the resource scheduling mechanism of MAC layer in LTE protocol and deeply discusses the deficiencies of Ericsson’s existing scheduling mechanism optimization under the network congestion.2,Based on the study of the LTE MAC layer,this paper proposes an improvement solution of Ericsson’s existing scheduling on account of users’ packet delay time under the network congestion,and analyzes the improved scheduling scheme in theoretical.3, Based on Ericsson’s simulation platform, this paper re-designed the MAC layer of the simulation system and semi persistent scheduling logic,and verified the effectiveness of the proposed performance optimization through simulation data comparison.
