Research On The Application Of PTN And OTN Cooperative Operation And Maintenance

With the maturity of commercial PTN technology,in recent years,it has become the mainstream technology of China Mobile metro transport network.However,in order to alleviate aggregation core fiber resource constraints,to meet the large particles carrying data private line service,especially for large local network,and to solve PTN network bandwidth and distance limitation problem,OTN applications in metro areas attract more and more attention.Most cities have been deploying OTN network in metro aggregation networks to divert PTN network carrying business.Especially,because of the large bandwidth requirements of 4G services,bandwidth upgrading of PTN access equipment is needed,and upgrading of 4G service area access ring to 10 GE bandwidth is the inevitable choice.As a result,joint networking PTN and OTN is a business-driven development result.Currently used scale of PTN and OTN is enormous.Besides,tightness degree between PTN and OTN in actual networking is very high.General cities and provinces have usually used PTN over OTN networking mode in core layer.In addition,the provincial capitals and some class one cities have used PTN over OTN networking mode even in the convergence layer.This paper mainly focuses on the analysis and study of PTN+OTN cooperative operation and maintenance scheme.On one hand,we can provide guidance for the configuration and distribution of performance indexes under PTN + OTN synergy networking;on the other hand,we can provide solutions to the possible problems in PTN + OTN synergy operation.
