In the modern military field,the Air defense early warning radar is the main source of air targets' information.It has very important position in the field of electronic information.But the design,development and test of radar system always spend a lot of manpower and material resources.So the radar system simulation technology is widely used.It provides a safe,reliable,repeatable and effective means for radar system research,and saves a lot of time and cost.Firstly,the phased array radar antenna pattern is modeled and simulated.The phased array air-defence early-warning radar has many common features with the common mechanical scanning radar,and it needs a narrow beam and low sidelobe to suppress the interference.Using the density-weighted phased array antenna directional pattern,a narrow-band beamwidth is achieved by a density-weighted method to reduce the sidelobe level,and a simulation is performed in combination with the beam scanning characteristics.Three different array element distribution methods were studied.Since the phased array antenna uses the electric sweep method,the beam width and the off-angle cosine of the beam deviation from the normal direction of the array are inversely proportional.Therefore,the method of determining the optimal angle of the plane and the method of searching the spatial wave arrangement in a given airspace under the condition of minimum scanning inclination angle are studied and simulated.One of the characteristics of radar signal level simulation is to reproduce the radar signal emission,echo signal generation and echo signal processing in the simulation process.This thesis describes the key radar signal processing submodule model principles involved in the simulation system.analysis.Emphasizes the simulation process of the signal processing module.Model and simulate radar signal processing and data processing modules,including sub-modules such as pulse compression,pulse accumulation,CFAR detection,and Kalman filtering.The keystone transformation based high-speed moving target distance walking correction algorithm was studied and simulated.Taking the air defense early warning radar system simulation as the background,the function and overall structure of the radar system are studied in depth,and the signal model,signal processing,data processing and other modules are modeled and simulated.Based on the Microsoft Visual C++ platform,a simulation system for the air defense early warning phased array radar work flow was completed.It mainly includes initialization module,signal generation module,signal processing module,signal detection module,target tracking module and display interface module.The entire simulation system uses MFC to build the overall framework and combines Open GL to complete the presentation interface drawing function.
