Media convergence is a "self-revolution" for traditional media. It not only is very necessary to use innovation engines to reform the institutional mechanisms of news production, but also to build a "value model" of the new mainstream media inall-media platform. To achieve media convergence,we need to understand that the Internet is becoming the foundation of social connectivity. Now in the content market, there arevarious of large platforms and content entrepreneurs.Thetraditional mainstream media can only achieve transformation through the Internet and build an “eco-friendly” media,so as to be able to have a strong user-adsorption capacity and user stickiness. We hope at last the traditional media can connect with everything to achieve the mission of regaining the right to speak in public opinion. In the exploration of Guangdong media convergence,Guangdong is moving toward a “new type of mainstream communication ecology”.It is creating new mainstream media in all aspects including public opinion, discourse power, integration modeland industrial development. For Guangdong, the fight for international discourse rights and access to the global media ecology are the most significant features of Guangdong. However,in the process of integration, there are also many problems.Although the platform is remodeling, the effect is still unknow.Based on the ten-year observation of Guangdong's media convergence, this study has initially explained the basic composition of the “new mainstream communication ecology” and made some suggestions for the development of “new type of mainstream communication ecology”.
