Study On Spare Parts Purchase And Supply Management Of WSC Corp.

Since entering the 21 st century,with the country financial support,China's integrated circuit industry has made a big progress,such as IC design and IC manufacturing.But with rapid development in China's integrated circuit industry,we have to face a brutal reality,that is integrated circuit manufacturing equipment are mostly controlled by foreign suppliers,the price of equipment is very high.As the status,spare parts are mostly dominated by equipment suppliers.WSC Corp.has semiconductor manufacturing experience of long time and state-owned assets background and has become the national base of manufacturing integrated circuit.National and local government give greater support in the funds,talent and policy.The existing production equipment of WSC Corp.are mostly imported from abroad,the core parts for the equipment inclusion of intellectual property.It is difficult to imitate by other suppliers,so the spare parts are mostly purchased from the original equipment manufacturers,only a small amount of spare parts have second supply source.WSC has successful experience in the overall procurement and supply of spare parts,but There are still a lot of deficiencies.Based on WSC's current situation of procurement and supply of spare parts,this paper makes an objective analysis of the problems found in the spare parts management and deeply analyzes the problems and shortcomings in spare parts management,then puts forward improved method.This paper begins with the research of literatures at home and abroad,and analyzes the macro environment and the particularity of the procurement and supply of spare parts in terms of the present situation of integrated circuit manufacturing equipment supply and the status of China's integrated circuit industry in the world.Secondly,the paper analyzes WSC's current situation of procurement and supply management of equipment spare parts,then points out some problems that need attention and be solved.Finally,based on the problems found,in spare parts management,supplier management,procurement and supply processes,the establishment of rapid supply mechanism and the localization of equipment and spare parts,give some advice to improve and optimize the procurement and supply management of spare parts.
