| Since 21 st century,with the rapid development of Internet technology,people's way of life has changed dramatically,the original in people's lives played an important role in the traditional television media,in the impact of the Internet has also become no longer important,traditional TV ratings fell sharply,advertising revenue plummeted.This effect not only exists in CCTV,provincial satellite TV and other large star platform,in the provincial terrestrial channels,but also appears to be particularly prominent.In this situation,some provincial satellite TV in a timely manner to adjust their overall strategy,the Internet tide has not been too much impact,but the majority of provincial television stations,because of their own foundation,platform,system,mechanism and human,material,financial and other constraints,the new media has been severely damaged,Its survival and development have been faced with unprecedented severe test and challenge.In this paper,the author takes the news channel of Guangdong Radio and TV station as an example,using the method of case analysis,literature analysis and interview to analyze the predicament and challenge faced by provincial TV station terrestrial channel in the whole media environment.By comparing the development status and common problems of the terrestrial channels in different provincial stations,this paper preliminarily analyzes the institutional and social roots of these problems.Based on this,the paper makes a preliminary discussion on how to locate the provincial terrestrial channel in the whole media background,to adapt to the development of the Times and the change of the media environment,to give full play to its core competitiveness,to embrace the Internet actively and to expand the mode of communication for the new media.For the survival and development of provincial terrestrial channels to provide practical ideas for the current traditional media faced with the survival and development of problems to provide a solution to the problem. |
