Along with the rapid development of the internet,media and television media,especially county broadcast television stations,have been severely impacted.In order to ensure grassroots guidance is correct and stable ideological is solidified,it is imperative to strengthen the building of grassroots news personnel.From the perspective of career identity,this dissertation explores the career identity of journalists at county-level radio and television stations in Guangdong Province and the behavioral impact they bring and provides media administrators with reference opinions.This study distributed survey questionnaires at 33 county-level stations in Guangdong Province,collected 427 valid questionnaires for data analysis and validated research hypotheses,and carried out research work with interviews.The following conclusions have been drawn: Career significance,career returns,career emotions,career environment and other factors have a significant impact on the career identity of journalists at county-level radio and television stations in Guangdong Province;career identity and job satisfaction have a significant impact on job satisfaction,behavioral performance and turnover intentions;job satisfaction plays a partial intermediary role between career identity and behavioral performance,career identity and turnover intention.Demographic variables have a certain predictability for the career identity of the county-level journalists in Guangdong Province and its influencing factors.Occupation of journalists in the eastern part of Guangdong,non-professional counterparts,professional journalists with higher professional titles,and professional journalists are those who have a higher degree of recognition.Career motivation and expectation,training and professional development and audience rating have great impact on career identity,job satisfaction and turnover intention.The survey results show that the respondents' intention to leave is at a relatively high level,especially for reporters in the 31-40 age group who have the lowest job satisfaction and intention to leave.According to the conclusion of this dissertation,below suggestions are given: talents management mechanism should be adopted,with the basis of regulation establishment;guidelines on training and career planning should be provided,with the core of team building;and improvement on career security system should be granted,with the guarantee of comprehensive mechanism construction.
