Constructing And Applying The Evaluation Model For Corporate Social Responsibility Of IC Design Enterprises

Information technology industry is one of the pillar industries in 21 st century.To develop the national information industry,the semiconductor industry is one of the most significant bases.The level of IC design industry development shows the grade and of the IC products.Therefore,the IC design industry plays an important role in the national economy.Recently,there is vigorous development of corporate social responsibility movement.IC design enterprises taking corporate social responsibility actively have a significant impact on promoting the development of corporate social responsibility movement in our country.In order to evaluate how the IC design enterprises take the corporate social responsibility more specifically,and promote the IC design enterprises to shoulder the corporate social responsibility more actively,the paper constructs the evaluation model for corporate social responsibility of IC design enterprises,puts the actual data of IC design enterprises into the model,and evaluates how they take the corporate social responsibility.The main contents include:(1)Designing the evaluation index system of corporate social responsibility that suits the IC design enterprises.Firstly,based on the stakeholder theory and relevant researches,and combined with the characteristics of IC design enterprises,this paper puts forward eight stakeholders of the IC design enterprises clearly,involving shareholders,creditors,employees,government,outsourcing vendors,customer companies,communities,resources and environment.Otherwise,based on the analysis of the IC design enterprises' stakeholders,this paper analyzes the particularities of the corporate social responsibilities that the IC design enterprises take for their stakeholders.Combined the relevant literature researches about the evaluation on the corporate social responsibility,this paper designs the evaluation index system of corporate social responsibility that suits the IC design enterprises.The evaluation index system contains eight criteria layer indexes and 37 index layer indexes.Comprehensively,the system summarizes the corporate social responsibilities that the IC design enterprises take for their stakeholders.(2)Constructing the evaluation model for the corporate social responsibility of IC design enterprises.On the basis of the evaluation index system designed in this paper,there are ten specialists in the field of corporate social responsibility who are invited to grade the importance of each index in the system.After their scoring,the outcomes are inputted into the YAAHP hierarchical analysis software.This software can output the percentage of each index,and construct the evaluation model for corporate social responsibility of IC design enterprises.(3)Applying the model.This paper selects eight IC design enterprises listed on the main board,and collects their data related to the corporate social responsibility during 2010 to 2014.After data collection,this paper inputs the data into the evaluation model to get the scores of enterprises corporate social responsibility,and then evaluates how the eight enterprises perform their corporate social responsibility.This article has two main innovation points.To begin with,the article constructs the evaluation model combined with characteristics and the particularities of the IC design enterprises corporate social responsibilities,so that the evaluation model constructed in this paper is more suitable for the IC design enterprises.Meanwhile,when determining the weight of the indexes,the paper uses the analytic hierarchy process to reduce the subjectivity of expert scoring.
