Research On The Risks Of Purchasing And Supply Of ABC Company Under The National Industrial Development Strategy Of Semiconductors

Along with the launch of national policies to promote and support the semiconductor industry in 2013,China has witness a rapid development of integrated circuit manufacturing industry and a continuous expansion on a large scale.However,most companies like ABC are at risk of supply chains due to many factors including the belated start of related industries,the shortage of technologies and experiences,the weak foundation without relevant industries,the dependence on imported production materials,the particular property of integrated circuit industry and the complexity of materials.Taking ABC's problem in purchasing and supply as the subject of research,this thesis discusses how to prevent and circumvent the risks in purchasing and supply so as to ensure the stable supply of materials used in production.The thesis begins with a brief introduction on the global development of integrated circuit manufacturing industry,in order to give the readers a basic understanding of the of integrated circuit manufacturing industry and the situation and features of global purchasing and supply chain.Through an introduction of the situation and characteristics of integrated circuit manufacturing supply chain,the thesis analyzes ABC company's problems as well as risks in its supplying chain.The ending part of this thesis,through the analysis of the problems and risks,proposes several approaches to reduce the risks in purchasing and supply chain,including the establishment of a scientific mechanism with regard to procurement and supply as well as supplier management,the establishment of a complete logistics system,and the joint establishment of the bonded materials supply and distribution center,and so on.The author also hopes that the research results of ABC company's problem can be help for other integrated circuit manufacturers.
