True three-dimensional display,as the next generation of new display technology developed vigorously by various countries,has become an attractive frontier technology field.In terms of policies,China has incorporated this technology into the national medium and long-term science and technology development plan.In practical applications,in recent years,the technology has been widely used in television broadcasting,video games,medical education and other fields;in theoretical research On the other hand,universities and research institutions at home and abroad have also made numerous breakthroughs after years of research and practice.However,due to the limitations of computer storage capacity and data processing capacity,the true three-dimensional display systems designed by the predecessors relied heavily on the complex design of hardware.In terms of technology implementation,there was uneven distribution of voxels,and the hardware system was too complex and difficult to expand.The system has its own noise,system cost is too high to be difficult to mass production and put into use,and other shortcomings,to be resolved.With the increase of computer storage capacity and data processing capability,this paper uses a new three-dimensional model voxelization algorithm and designs an arraybased scalable LED three-dimensional display system.The system proposes a new true 3D display solution from a new perspective,reducing the reliance on true 3D display hardware systems,enabling large-scale,high-resolution commercial true 3D display animation display.The main work is as follows:First,the voxelization algorithm and the true three-dimensional dynamic display algorithm based on the three-dimensional model of array-based LED three-dimensional display system are studied.The implementation process of the voxelization algorithm is mainly divided into: the import of the STL model file,the topology reconstruction,the slicing processing of the STL model,and the scan line filling.The true three-dimensional dynamic display algorithm realizes the movement,rotation and scaling in true threedimensional display.The moving and rotating method is based on voxel data,and realizes dynamic display under true three-dimensional display by transforming a plurality of voxel points through matrix transformation.Scaling and shrinking uses the recursive addition and deletion of boundary voxels to achieve true three-dimensional zooming in and out.Second,the construction of a true three-dimensional display system mainly includes the construction of hardware systems and the development of control software.In the hardware system,the voxelized data of the three-dimensional model is transmitted to the controller through the PC in turn,and the display of the true three-dimensional model in the three-dimensional LED array is controlled through the data transmission protocol.In the control software development,it is mainly divided into model processing module,simulation display module and control module.The control module contains single point debugging.Motion control and other functions.Finally,the feasibility of the algorithm and software was verified by computer simulation and experimental test platform.The algorithm and the three-dimensional display system avoid the bottlenecks such as non-uniform distribution of voxels,complex hardware systems,and noise in the previous research systems,and greatly reduce the system cost,and is expected to achieve mass production and commercial use.At present,the project is in the hardware building stage of a large-scale true three-dimensional display system.A largescale,high-resolution true three-dimensional complex model can be presented in this largescale system to confirm the practical value and significance of the project.
