In recent years,The call and planning of "advocating universal reading" and "strengthening the construction of Ideological and moral and spiritual civilization" are constantly appearing in the report of the government work.Since 18 th CPC National Congress,The reading promotion work has made a breakthrough.As an important base for the cultivation of national talents and cultural innovation,colleges and universities are undoubtedly an important part of the spiritual and cultural construction.The university library,the core of the information resources of the school,plays an important role in the construction of campus culture.It can make full use of modern media to create campus reading atmosphere by organizing various reading activities,and has achieved remarkable results.However,it also presents many shortcomings,such as the small number of users,low participation and ineffective activities.Whether users participate and user engagement have direct impact on the effect of reading promotion.Motivation is the core of understanding individual behavior.Therefore,Understanding the motivation of users and the role of participation motivation on participation will be the key to understanding users' behavior and making corresponding strategies.The author draw lessons from domestic survey list of reading promotion motivation,and puts forward three dimensions of user participation,and puts forward a hypothesis model of the relationship between the two.After obtaining data through questionnaires.By means of factor analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,the author verifies the relationship in the model.Then the results of data processing are analyzed,and the corresponding strategies and suggestions are put forward for the university library to improve the degree of user participation.
