The digital signal processing platform of the rangefinder is part of the long baseline positioning system,which is used to signal detect and locate.In this paper,digital signal processing platform of rangefinder based on TI multicore DSP TMS320C6674 and Altera Cyclone IV GX series FPGA.It includes hardware design and software design.The hardware mainly design schematic of multicore DSP board which based on multicore DSP and signal acquisition board which based on FPGA and backplane.The software realizes the function is FPGA control AD conveter to acquisition data in the FPGA signal acquisition board and transmit data to the multicore DSP board through the PCIE interface.The multicore DSP board receives data by PCIE interface and complete the signal detection.Firstly this paper completes the hardware design of the digital signal processing platform for the rangefinder.Introduce the design of the mulicore DSP minimum system,which includes power and clock and JTAG and memory and BMC.According to the characteristics of PCIE bus,using AMC interface to design interboard communication interface.Introduce the design of the FPGA minimu system and AD acquisition circuit and backplane.Next the software design of FPGA signal acquisition board and multicore DSP signal processing board are completed.Writing AD control program to realize data acquisition and building a Qsys module to design the End Point terminal of PCIE bus to send data to DSP in FPGA.The PCIE bus' s RC terminal is designed to receive data in core0 and the IPC module is used to realize the communication between the core0 and core1 and the SYS/BIOS system is built to schedule the task and to complete the signal detection in the multicore DSP core1.Finaly the FPGA board and the multicore DSP board are inserted into the backboard to test communication rate of the PCIE between the boards and the system operation.After actual testing and system intermodulation,the digital signal processing platform of the ranger system is stable and can accomplish task of ten channels signal correlation detection by one core in real time and it is high scalability which provides conditions for the upgrade of signal detection algorithms and externed number of channels in the future.
