Research On Live Video Broadcasting From The View Of Carnival Theory

The rapid development of Internet technology,while increasingly creating new technologies,is also constantly giving birth to new means of communication and forms of communication.Since 2016,online video broadcast has attracted wide public attention as a new form of communication,and more and more people have picked up mobile phones for live broadcast and self-expression.People are immersed in the virtual space created by Live Video,using their images to express themselves and communicate with strangers.This new group of people has the same carnival significance as the distant medieval Renaissance carnival.Live Video has formed a new carnival world under the Internet age.This dissertation is based on the former Soviet Union literary theorist Bakhtin's carnival theory to interpret Live Video,and believes that the world built by Live Video is just like the medieval carnival square.It is a different world established outside the official,serious and mainstream world.In this world,the hierarchy of the real world is temporarily suspended,and the general public can freely revelry.Diversified live broadcast platforms and different studios have established a live broadcast of the Carnival Square;various ordinary people constitute the main part of the carnival;video-based communication forms the carnival form of this world.Live Video revelry world presents a unique body revelry,dialogue carnival,video and audio symbol revelry.Based on this,this dissertation discusses the cultural significance of Live Video carnival world.Live Video broadcast brings unprecedented emotional experience and consumer experience to the live broadcast crowd,and creates a new identity for live broadcasters.The live format in which "everyone is an anchor" also weakens the privileged live broadcast of mainstream consciousness,and constructs a "decentralized" live discourse space.As a public space for people to express themselves and provide a perfect place for dialogue with the mainstream world,Live Video also provides a new aggregative community for young people and creates a live subculture.This subculture is also try to dialogue with mainstream culture in order to achieve harmonious coexistence.
