In recent years,in order to capture market share and gain public attention,all kinds of TV variety shows have turned their attention to stars carrying various symbolic meanings and value connotations,and passed through the privacy of over-consumer stars' bodies,images,and interpersonal communication.The curtain of this "viewing battle" was opened.The phenomenon of studying over-consumer stars in TV variety shows can track the changes in social life and popular spiritual appeal in today's era,and can find close connections between audiences and celebrities and the media market,so as to grasp the social nature under the entertainment carnival in the new era.In this study,"Flowers and Juveniles in the Second Season" was taken as the research object.The literature analysis method,text analysis method,case study method,and in-depth interview method were used to analyze the causes and characteristics of over-consumer celebrities from the perspective of communication science.And propose corresponding strategies.This study mainly includes five parts.The introduction part mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this topic selection,core concepts,literature review,and research ideas.The first part describes the development history of consumer stars of TV variety shows.Their consumption of stars has entered a new era of over-consumer celebrities after experiencing the “professional talent of stars” and “focusing on the personality of civilian stars”.In the second quarter of the teen season,the characteristics of over-consumer stars in television variety shows were analyzed and reflected from the three aspects of the star's body,image,and interpersonal communication.The television variety shows satisfy the audience's conceited imagination of the celebrity's body by displaying the star's "traumatic body" and "open body",and make it produce alternative satisfaction in the process of watching;"Contrast image" and "tabbedimage" to satisfy the audience's desire to explore the celebrity;to create conflict elements between the celebrity and the environment,celebrities and celebrities,clashes and conflicts between the celebrity and the self,and to over-consume celebrities' interpersonal relationships.Communication to create consumer topics.The second part is the reasons why TV variety shows are over-consumed by stars.They explain the causes from the three aspects of the influence of consumerism culture,the pursuit of the interest of the disseminator,and the spiritual appeal of the audience.Under the influence of consumerism culture,the purpose of TV variety shows has gradually changed from a “propaganda” culture to a “business interest,” and the television media knows that they want to gain commercial interests and must win the favor of the audience because they have an audience.Means having ratings.Therefore,satisfying the audience's psychological appeal has become the primary task of the television variety show.In this sense,the alternative person who can meet the psychological needs of the audience is the object of fierce competition among various media,and carries multiple symbolic meanings.The star is undoubtedly the best candidate,so the war of over-consumption stars thus opened the curtain.After analyzing the characteristics of over-consumer stars in television variety shows,this study described the negative impact of over-consumer stars in television variety shows on the show itself,the celebrity itself,and the audience.The impact on the show included a decrease in the taste and excessiveness of the show.Consumer celebrities detached programs from “quality” and “quantity”;influences on celebrities include the confusion between the “front-end” and “background” images of the audience,blurring the personal boundaries between personal and public spheres,and the impact on audiences.Weaken our thinking ability and indulged the audience in the star feast provided by the media.The last part is to propose countermeasures for the negative impact of over-consumer stars in TV variety shows.The government should pay attention to the improvement of related systems,the establishment of public spheres,and the establishment of third-party assessment mechanisms;celebrities should establish a good image and exert themselves.The exemplary role of moral models;TV variety programs adhere to ethics,and will control the consumption of celebrities in a suitable “degree”;the final audience should establish a correct concept of consumption,distinguish consumption “use” and “entertainment”,and strengthen Its own media literacy education.
