With the advent of the mobile Internet era,new media has flourished and various types of information have been disseminated through mobile media platforms such as We Chat,Weibo,and mobile clients.The mobilization of news reading and dissemination has become a trend.The traditional media soon realized that the power of such shocks and changes has accelerated the pace of media integration and began to use Weibo,Wechat,and mobile clients to occupy new channels and markets and maintain the core influence of the media.At the same time,with the decline of traditional paper media advertising revenues and the need for strong support from new media products,the mobile phone product market is undoubtedly an opportunity and a challenge for the transformation and development of paper media.How paper media develops APP products that meet the needs of users and markets in the Internet era,realize media convergence,and seize the high ground of public opinion are urgent issues to be resolved.The influence of the mobile Internet era on the media is profound: “audience” becomes“user”,fragmentation of reading time,reading scenes,compounding of information acquisition channels,reading preference picturization,videoization...In the mobile application market,news APP Become a product,users become consumers,these changes are impacting the traditional one-way mode of dissemination of paper media.Different from the situation in the development of paper media APP,the Internet portal website APP entered the mobile client market earlier and occupied a relatively large market share,and it has entered a mature stage of development.Aggregated news app APP is developed by emerging mobile client development companies.They are born in response to the times and bring their own Internet properties to make them more flexible.In order to comprehensively and thoroughly understand the problems in the transformation of the paper media industry,this paper uses the paper-based APP of the whole industry as the research object,rather than selecting very few of them for research and analysis.In accordance with the paper media APP type classification research on the status of different types of development APP such as party media,local paper media,etc.,sum up their common features,and then find out the fundamental problems in the development of paper media APP,and give corresponding development countermeasures.Using the Internet's thinking,the paper media APP is considered as an Internet product,not limited to the media,and analyzes its characteristics from the product strategy layer,product function layer,product structure layer,product presentation layer,and product user experience layer.Compared withthe better developed portal APP,it is found that paper media APP has some problems in the Internet environment.For example,the product positioning is ambiguous,the attention of users is not enough,the interface design of homogenized products of content production converges,and the operation and promotion links are vacant.The feedback mechanism is lagging behind.Small traffic cannot support multiple profit models.It is difficult to implement new ideas because of weak technology.The personnel structure cannot meet the development dilemma of the new situation.According to the overall status quo and problems faced by the paper media APP,this paper proposes to practice subdividing users first and then consider independent APPs,and to choose a news aggregating platform or a localized “news + government affairs + service” or do not do a platform for content production according to their own circumstances.Development direction,using differentiated content management strategies,focusing on user experience,adopting diversified media marketing methods and content value-based business models,adopting the lean entrepreneurial operating practices of small and micro teams,and remedying them through cooperation and mergers and acquisitions.Technical shortcomings,content process reengineering,and the formation of a new content production mechanism,strive to explore its future development.
