With the development of science and technology, mobile phones already became a new tool for communication and the media has been widely used, and the birth of the We-Chat in line with this trend. We-Chat is an instant messaging software, its carrier is smart phone. It has diversified multimedia ways of communication, including voice, text, video and so on. It send information instantly, low cost, and privacy. It is a comprehensive, three-dimensional and open of the way to make friends in a social networking platform, so in a short time it won a lot of user groups. Therefore, many businesses, enterprises, media pay attention to the launch of We-Chat public account. There are many traditional media have opened up their own We-Chat public account, spread news media and do some brand promotion activities. This paper attempts to analysis the user groups and properties of We-Chat, explore the possibility of We-Chat as a news dissemination tool, discuss the current situation and prospects of paper media using We-Chat public account.This thesis includes four aspects, analysis the development of paper media use of We-Chat public account. First, this article discussed the rise and development of We-Chat and its user groups and user behavior, summed up the impact of this mode of transmission on society. Secondly, explored the We-Chat brought a series of changes for news dissemination activities, and the possibility of We-Chat converged with the news media. After that, the "Qian Jiang Evening News" as the example, analysis the current situation and development of paper media using the We-Chat public account to spread news. Finally, discussed the problems and suggestions for solving these problems.
