Analysis On Government Image Communication In Natural Disaster Reports Under Different Media Ecological Environment

China is a country with frequent natural disasters and the government is an important force for disaster responses.For the modern audiences living in the pseudo-environment,the news reports of the media are the basis for them to understand the government's behavior and recognize the government's image.Therefore,in the report of natural disasters,the media's re-presentation of the government is the key to the image of the government and plays an important role in the communication of the government image.With the change of the media ecological environment,the government image dissemination in natural disaster reports also take different methods,show different characteristics and make different effects in different periods.This article will take the comparative analysis of "Tangshan earthquake" and"Wenchuan earthquake" as an example to observe the changes in the media ecological environment from the end of the Cultural Revolution to the new century,and analyze the gains and losses of the government image in natural disaster reports.Based on history,this article provides suggestions and strategies for the spread of government image in natural disaster reports in the new era.This study is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background and significance,the research status on the communication of government image at home and abroad,the problems and methods of this study,and the definition of the core concepts;The second chapter is the history of China's media ecological environment changes from the "Tangshan earthquake" to"Wenchuan earthquake",and analyzes the changes of China's media ecological environment from three perspectives of policy system,cultural cognition,and communication media;The third chapter is an example of the government image communication of the two earthquakes reported by People's Daily,and the content analysis is carried out from the aspects of the issues,the characteristics of the discourse,the means of expression and the attitude of reports;The fourth chapter studies the effect and influence of the government image communication in the two earthquake reports through the government effectiveness,the value concept,foreign policy and information disclosure.The fifth chapter is the end-result of this study.It clarifies the opportunities and challenges of government image communication under media ecological environment of the new period.And based on the history,reality,and the future,this chapter puts forward the author's own thinking and suggestions on the communication strategy of the government image in natural disaster reports of China;The last part is the conclusion,reiterating the research value of this paper,and looking forward to the future of the government image communication in natural disaster reports.
