Financial strategy is an important component in the enterprise's strategy and a crucial guarantee for enterprises to achieve its overall strategic objectives.How to make use of the existing financial resources to ensure the financial strategy to meet the development needs of the enterprise is the focus of attention of modern enterprises.The financial strategy matrix can reduce the subjectivity of decision making by combining the two elements of value creation and fund surplus for quantitative analysis.It is an effective tool to assist enterprises to formulate financial strategy.Zhejiang Daily Media Group Co.,Ltd.,as the pioneer of the traditional media transformation,after its listing in 2011,it has adopted a series of measures to successfully achieve the strategic transformation,and its financial strategy in the transformation process is worth to study.Based on the above research background,this paper selects Zhejiang Daily Media Group Co.,Ltd.as a case study,sorts out the relevant theoretical knowledge of financial strategy and financial strategy matrix,uses the financial strategy matrix model,and analyzes Zhejiang Daily Media Group Co.,Ltd.The Financial Strategy Selected from the Transition from Traditional Media to Internet-based New Media.Therefore,on the basis of previous studies,this paper uses the financial strategy matrix to study the financial strategy in the transformation of Zhejiang Daily Media Group Co.,Ltd.Firstly,this paper briefly introduces the development course and the background of the case enterprise,calculates and analyzes the basic financial data of the case enterprise from 2011 to 2016,constructs the financial strategy matrix of the case enterprise,and then points out the financial strategy adopted by the case enterprise in the transformation.Analysis and evaluation of its financing,investment,and profit distribution strategy ard in line with the financial strategy matrix theory,pointing out the shortcomings of its financial strategy decision;finally,some specific optimization suggestions for these shortcomings are put forward.At the same time,it is found that the financial strategy adopted by the case enterprise in the process of transformation is basically consistent with the theory of financial strategy matrix,which shows that the theory is an effective tool for analysis and evaluation,so it can play a role in the actual development of a financial strategy.
