Nowadays,there is a lot of pressure on young children in our country to learn.With the development of science and technology,the time and frequency of young children's access to electronic products such as mobile phones have risen sharply.Bad habits can cause eye fatigue,and long-term vision fatigue easily lead to myopia and other eye diseases.Chinese young children who present the incidence of myopia are up to 80%.An existence of effective monitor in the management of eyes fatigues as well as the timely eye guidance for children will be very useful for myopia avoidance.At present,there are two types of optometry:manual optometry and automatic optometry.The former is slow to operate,while the latter is expensive and complicated in system.Therefore,it cannot meet the needs of real-time monitoring.The aim of this research is to design a portable eyesight monitoring system for general home house.Before the design of eyesight monitoring system,a deep analysis has been conducted to understand the eyesight monitoring system.Based on the analysis we design the module system which is composed of:wireless communication module,key control module,power management module;in hardware and software data transmission,Bluetooth 4.0 BLE has been chosen as the wireless communication technology for the system and we use Protocol Buffers to solve the security issues of data exchange process and expansion problem in the application layer.By testing the eyesight monitoring system,the results show that its functions as well as the performance are good and the test results are in line with our expectations.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Taking eyesight measurement as the basic purpose,we put forward a design scheme for the system as a front-end + phone APP.After the analysis of requirements,we carry out the appropriate hardware and software design and realize the function of eyesight measurements viewing the history,adding users and interactive interface.2.By comparing various wireless technologies,this paper chooses Bluetooth 4.0BLE as the data transmission technology of the system,not only because of its fast access speed,transmissi security,but also because it can meet the requirements of bandwidth and communication distance.3.Protocol Buffers is applied to the the data communication in the application layer in this design to improve data security,increase flexibility of data formats and facilitate post upgrade.4.Test all eyesight monitoring modules such as:Bluetooth connectivity communication,hardware control and application of Protocol Buffers.Through software and hardware testing,we get the desired results.Several solutions to this proposed design are feasible.And Protocol Buffers not only apply to this system,but also can be adopted in more wireless devices in the future which has broad application foreground.
