Design And Implemntation Of The Child Eyesight Protection System Based On Intellisense Of Smart Television

We launched a market survey about the problem of children watching television. And the survey shows that: as for the problem of watching TV, parents are most worried about is the fear of their children’s eyesight was influenced and suffered myopia prematurely because of watching TV. And they request the necessary of controlling about the distance and time while children watching TV. Based on parents’ concerns, this paper leads to the concept of “Eyesight Protect TV”,and proposed solutions about the problem of childern’s excessive television viewing based on the intellisense.This system develop the face recongnition service platform based on intellisense. And its goal is to achieve the application of eyesight protection, provide a variety of children’s vision care services including intelligent eyesight protection, light eyesight protection, distance eyesight protection, and duration eyesight protection. Reminder information will display on the TV screens through WindowManager mechanism, it displays on the top and does not affect the users.We use the technology of Activity, Service, Provider to develop this system. And provides the access of image capture devices, the acquisition of televison information. Users can set and adjust the screen or function via configuration interface. This system combined with television gives full funciton adjustment of intellisense devices, provides safty watching environment for users, and meet the parents’ demand for their children’s eyesight protection.This project applied the technology of digital sensing devices to digital home, and develop digital Smart TV that support intellisense, using the more mature commercial recognition algorithm to accomplish the functions of children identification and eyesight protection, and reflecting the features of Haier eyesight protect television from the perspective of users’ experience and users’ value.
