Requirement Analysis And Function Implementation Of Information Service Of Mobile Library In University

The three major Internet providers successively proposed and verified the concept of "4G+" to upgrade 4G network by using LET-A Carrier Aggregation,which dramatically changed the mobile environment.Mobile terminal reading which accesses to library resources with help of mobile Internet and mobile communication technologies has been getting much more support from the mass of people.Thus,innovating library information services mode through utilizing various mobile technologies to provide users with more efficient and effective resources has a wide range of prospects.Developing library mobile client application with comprehensive consideration of actual situation and needs can better be applied to today's work,study and life of teachers and students in colleges and universities in order to meet the demands of users to make better use of library information services and resources.By introducing the connotations and characteristics of mobile Internet and information services in the context of the former,this thesis further leaded the research topic,i.e.,mobile library information services of universities,and expounds its characteristics,pattern classification and user types in detail,and analyzed current situation of information services as well as advantages and disadvantages among Chaoxing mobile library APP,Huiwen handheld library APP and WeChat subscription,which provides a theoretical basis for requirements survey and system implementation.A random survey was conducted for students by investigating users' basic characteristics,background information of users'utilization of library resources and users' requirements for mobile library information service functions by taking Nanjing University library as the research background.Then the author designed an information service system scheme of mobile library according to users'needs based on the statistical results of the data.This thesis also expounded the advantages and characteristics of visual elements of information design in order to improve user experience and provide users with a friendly and dapper system interface.In the application development process,this thesis took Eclipse+Tomcat+JDK as the server environment to connect the network and store information resources and Android Studio+JDK+SDK as development environment with Java as programming language.The common components and code blocks such as splash screen,guide pages and home interface were implemented firstly.And then a mobile library application of Android version with the functions designed according to the system scheme such as registration/login,bibliographic retrieval,download,public classes/video resources and campus news was implemented ultimately.Finally,an operation test was conducted and the modules of news and discovery were optimized.
