With the continuous growth of China's economy and the accelerating development of urbanization,the image of the city has gradually become an important element in considering the comprehensive competitiveness of the city.A good city image is related to the image of the citizens,the government,and even the country.Creating a city image is an inevitable requirement for operating a city.As an important transportation mode of the city,the subway has increasingly become an important window for shaping and promoting the city's image.The Nanning Metro has been operating since 2016 and is the first provincial capital city in China to open subways,which not only brings great convenience to people's travel.Its vast physical space and a large number of subway passengers provide a good platform for shaping and promoting urban image.This paper is elaborated in five chapters,using the interview method,observation method,Questionnaire method and questionnaire analysis method to study the shaping of the city image of Nanning subway and its promotion strategy.The thesis mainly elaborates the status quo of the metro image of Nanning city from the four parts of Nanning subway space design,shaping city image,shaping city image as traffic mode,shaping city image as media platform,and using online media to create city image.Combined with the interview method and the questionnaire analysis method,this paper analyzes the subway passengers' perception of the image of the metropolitan city in Nanning.On the basis of this,combining the advantages of subway construction in cities such as Wuhan and.Hangzhou,this paper puts forward that the Nanning subway builds up the city image promotion strategy.Firstly,it conforms to the development of the times and taps the subway to create a new form of the city image.Second,it builds a special metro and highlights the urban image of Nanning.Finally,a system of communication system was constructed to enhance the image of the city network,with a view to providing reference for shaping and promoting the urban image of Nanning Subway.
