2016 was called the beginning of the development of virtual reality.It is regarded as an important extension of the development of digitalization and informationization in this century.The advancement of media technology is a great driving force and a key determinant of the development of today's communications.Throughout the development of news communication,it has always been accompanied by changes in media technology.From text to audiovisual,from paper to internet,and from traditional media to digital media,the news industry is not only leveraging technology,making effective use of technology,but also developing technology.The forward-looking and indirect pioneers in the process.Based on the perspective of communication science,virtual reality technology that can realistically reproduce the display environment and break the boundaries of time and space can bring users a very high degree of immersive experience.This interactivity and immersive communication characteristics have made it a means of dissemination for global media organizations.Especially since November 6,2015,the "New York Times" has taken the lead in launching the world's first virtual reality news client.As a representative,the traditional news industry has turned the news market competition into the VR news products.As a new form of media,VR has been effective in life scenes,social scenes,consumption scenes,and political communication scenes.Some scholars have asserted that one of the major advances in human science and technology in the second half of the 20 th century was the use of virtual technology to realize the virtual construction of cognitive objects and the environment.Therefore,in addition to technological innovations,the problem of VR viewers' cognition-behavior and media communication effects deserves widespread attention in the academic world.However,studying the existing studies in journalism and communication circles both at home and abroad,and studying the effects of news information dissemination in VR news viewers' experience,are still paying attention.At present,in the field of psychology,information processing theory as an important branch of cognitive psychology,in-depth research and discussion of information flow activities within the human body.Based on the psychological theory of information processing,this study studies the psychological essence and internal mechanism of the audience in the dissemination of VR news information from a micro perspective,and attempts to outline the internal information flow model of the organism,namely,the VR news audience cognitive process model.With the help of related experimental paradigms and experimental tools in cognitive neuroscience,VR news audiences have been validated from multiple perspectives by organically and comprehensively applying methods such as sound thinking,exploration and confirmatory factor analysis,and eye movement analysis.The cognitive process model and cognitive structure model show that the model is an effective cognitive model.In addition,based on the integration and classification of VR news clues,this study explored the structure of virtual reality news information,the level of human-computer interaction,and the use of experimental tools such as the oral report method free recall test,audience emotional response questionnaire,and scenario recall questionnaire.Focusing on the covariation relationship between time and gaze density,the model constructs a cognitive process model for users watching virtual reality news and conducts relevant experimental verification.
