With the advance of global information process,file as a unique source of information and public cultural products,only to take advantage of the public to fully realize its value.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to “strengthen the dominance and discourse power in the ideological field,establish cultural confidence,and improve the cultural quality of the people”.From the point of view of archives work,the promotion of archives information literacy has also been put on the agenda.From the current point of view,academic research on archival information literacy is very scarce,and in particular there are few articles on the research of archival information literacy from the perspective of the public.This article chooses to study the issue of public file information literacy,which has important practical significance for the improvement of the level of social civilization and the popularity of archives.This article consists of seven chapters: the first part is introduction,introduces the research background,significance,research ideas and methods as well as innovations and deficiencies.The second chapter is the research status at home and abroad.It mainly introduces the research status and research results of domestic and foreign archives information literacy.The third chapter is the definition of related concepts and the theoretical overview of archival information literacy.It focuses on the conceptual definition and theoretical analysis of archival information literacy.The fourth chapter is the composition of archival information literacy.Part 5 is to sort out and sum up the data obtained from the questionnaire survey,and to give an overall description of the status of public information literacy in our country.Chapter 6 analyzes the factors affecting public information literacy based on the ACRL Information Literacy Standards developed by the American Library Association,combined with data from questionnaire surveys.The seventh chapter analyzes the existing problems of public archives information literacy in China,and puts forward suggestions on how to improve public information literacy in terms of social policies,laws and regulations,technical support,and personal subjective efforts.
