The essential part of 3D animation is the 3D cartoon character model.Although there are many modeling software systems on the market,these software can meet different modeling requirements,but these systems are complex,difficult to master,and difficult to use by non-professionals.On the road of exploration,the graphics industry has done some related research in simple and easy modeling technology,and put forward the method of combinatorial modeling.In general,the existing modeling technology can be used as a technological process with clear objectives in controlling the design of the whole model.However,this process is also an open art creation process,and unexpected changes will happen.Therefore,it has important theoretical research significance and practical application value to give users more design support in the process of artistic creation in the open art creation process.Starting with the external visual performance of the cartoon characters,this paper will discuss the design style of the 3D animation role and the integration with the traditional art,and make a new research and attempt from the combination of art and technology,so that the nonprofessional personnel can also easily design the three-dimensional animation role.This article only takes the role of the genealogical animation in Jiangnan Town as an example,and combines this case to discuss the three aspects of the cartoon character figure editing,dress design and color application.
