A Homosexual Discourse Analysis Of 11 Medias' Official Micro-blogs

This study aims to explore how the 11 official micro-blogs constructed homosexual discourses.In theory,the study offered two innovations : firstly,it introduced the concept of discourse,making micro-blog text as an object which is not a standard news text,and acquiring its characteristics in making the discourse structure in specific social context;secondly,according to Roland Barthes' text theory,the study included comments ? dianzans and forwarding as indexes of interactions in the construction study framework,probing how structural semantics derives in interactive processes.This study was operated on two basic dimensions including time and space.Firstly,the general picture of symbol distribution was described from three aspects:year,media and place.The media framework and biased distribution of discourse were described from two sub-dimensions — — text and characters.Finally,users' feedback was compared with potential intentions of discourse,making some subtle things clear.In time dimension,text corpus can be divided into three stages,containing 90 most frequent content words,showing the diachronic transition of discourse structure and orientation.Compared with homosexual discourse in traditional media and webpages,the official micro-blogs are more free in voicing some unofficial feelings by dynamic pictures?buzzwords and emoji packages,and more concerned about domestic affairs in constructing homosexual discourse.However,with conservation and relatively narrow field of vision,official micro-blogs tends to consume and distort this group,their differences with “normal” ones are enlarged,scarcely referring to the common things.The users are excited to be outlookers of low comedies,but also determined to be supporters of safeguarding their legal rights.Through three stages of development,conflicts and contradictions have being reduced,constructive and guiding implications have being strengthened,but it is far from being powerful and real.This is resulted from the circumstances of social network and the conservative social context.To improve the homosexual discourse of official micro-blogs,the media should increase the proportion of original discourse,demonstrating their living condition to make the discourse real and perceptual.More editors with relevant discipline background should join in to produce professional content;the media should avoidconsuming the vulnerable group and build a same-feeling community;the media should extend their way of thinking deep inside to abandon superficial production.
