Design And Implementation Of The University Integrated Electronic Document Management System

In this age of information,people have become more and more dependent on computers,both in daily life and work.In life,daily activities such as eating,watching movies,shopping and so on have all become accustomed to being completed through the Internet.At work,attendance,office work and so on are slowly becoming online.Office Automation has gradually gone deep into enterprises,companies,schools,hospitals,etc.The paper era has quietly gone further and further away from us.With the rapid development of information technology,a large number of electronic documents have emerged in the daily management in universities.Over time,the volume and capacity of these documents have become larger and more difficult to manage.It takes a lot of time and effort to find these documents,and also there are many document versions.It is difficult to integrate these documents and realize unified documents management.Some of the documents that need to be written collaboratively by various departments are inconvenient to share,and there is a lack of efficient and common ways to write documents.First of all,the paper describes the background and significance of the research,and the development status of electronic document management in China and abroad.In order to improve the efficiency of resource search,this article proposes the concept of resource search based on metadata,and briefly describes the theoretical knowledge related to metadata.Through the analysis of requirements and functions,the system has been designed as a whole,and detailed descriptions have been made on multiple functional modules,including login and registration,resource search,resource uploading,resource sharing,and metadata management.This article is focus on the resource search which is based on Metadata.This article elaborates on how to search for resources based on metadata,including resource metadata design and resource search scheme design.The detailed design uses UML as the modeling language and Microsoft Office Visio as the design tool.The use case diagrams,Sequence diagrams,and flowcharts in the system are designed.Using the E-R diagrams to represent the main database model in the system,the database in this project is SQL Server 2008,and the development language is Java.In this project,many problems in the electronic document management in colleges and universities have been solved,including management difficulties,low search efficiency,resource version management confusion,low security,low effectively in resources cooperate and share.
