This research is a empirical study about the the sociality of online journalism based on the case study of Sina News.Based on content analysis and field work, this paper mainly focused on the following questions:(1) What changes has Sina News went through during the last decade in terms of news philosophy, use of technology, the production of news? (2) What is the habitus and the power relationship within the Sina News newsroom? (3) What factors contribute to these changes?In the first part of the study, by using the method of content analysis, sina news reports on the National People’s Congress and the Chinese Political Consultative Conference(NPC&CPPCC) from 2006 to 2015 were analyzed, and the way of analysis of the main including the newsroom, news sources, layout analysis, such as marketing, interactive way, described deeply and in detail by sina news business news website production characteristics and development process, to explore the network media organizations outside of the various social control factors and the interaction between online news production practice.The second part of adopts the method of participant observation and in-depth interviews, from two aspects of habitus and capital of sina news center field characteristics of the "editorial board" deep trace, to explore the media organization internal relations of power and the interaction between news production practice.
