| The development of "big data" has brought great changes to the news media industry and the value of news behind the data has gradually been noticed by people.The way of producing news has changed to a certain extent,thus forming a new type of news form-data journalism.Studying the visualization of data journalism and discovering the characteristics and laws of data journalism in visual production can provide reference and guidance to the data journalism practice in the future,which is beneficial to the data journalism practice of our country.The visualization of data journalism refers to the process of transforming the words and numbers information into visual forms,which has technical,artistic and data-oriented features.The subject of visualization refers to the data journalism editorial department,which is mainly composed of data journalists,content design editors,designers and programmers.It has mutual influence with users.The process of data journalism visualization can be divided into three parts:Data Mining and analysis,graph presentation and interaction,visual collocation and design.There are many kinds of data journalism visualization modes,which can be distinguished according to the detailed information presented in the chart.The patterns of detailed visualization types mainly include database mode,information customization mode and diachronic comparison model.The patterns of non-exhaustive visualization types mainly include static information graph mode,nonlinear interactive mode and user participation pattern.There are many inadequacies in the current data journalism,such as the confusion of visual language,inadequacy of interaction,monotonous visualization mode and lack of content depth.This paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from the establishment of a specialized production team,the use of rich visual patterns and the building of data journalism database. |
