Study On Present Situation And Development Trend Of Data Journalism Of China Print Media Under The Background Of Big Data

With the arrival of the age of big data,data journalism has become the development trend of the present journalism and core competitiveness.The production process of data journalism pay attention to data collection,data analysis and data mining.Variety of data visualization change the traditional pattern of news narrative.So,the rise of the press has created opportunities for traditional media to the new media era.But,at present,most excellent works of data journalism rely on high technology,require online media publishing,especially print media.Whether in the case of visual technology limits grasp the characteristics of the press,plays the press powerful communication function,completes the successful transition of news content production is an issue worthy of discussion.Based on Chinese print as object of study,selecting two development better data newspaper,gather data journalism of two newspapers,through means of statistical indexes and content analysis of investigation status of data journalism of China print media and its development trend by mining issues,and make recommendations for targeted and worthy of print reference.This thesis is divided into five chapters: introduction mainly introduces the research status of data journalism at home and abroad,research methods and significance of this paper;the firstly chapter mainly discusses the concept and characteristics of data journalism,and the impact on the traditional news reported briefly in this paper;second mainly discusses the empirical study of the design process,sampling ?Southern Metropolis Daily? and ?Beijing news? as the research sample after the preliminary investigation,setting indicators,gathering all data journalism in the odd months of 2013 and even-numbered months of 2014,to discuss the status quo of data journalism of China print media,and reliability test;the third chapter from the coverage of news print data,analysis of issues constitute a coverage area,etc;the fourth chapter analysis data visualization,data application and operation characteristics of print media living on form and production mode of data journalism of China print media;the fifth chapter based on Big Data,Media Convergence and Open News,puts forward the sustainable development way of data journalism of China print media.
