Data Quality Control And Improvement In ERP Implementation And Go Live

Currenly all of us stay in a 'big data'period,All componies are facing the competition from all over the word,In order to keep the advantage in the competition,Information Management,especialy for data management has become more and more important.How to improve the data qualtity,how to improve its standardization,timeliness,effectiveness,intrgrity,security has become one of the most topic of the company.This thesis is based on my experience in the past more than 10 years,after my analysis found that the turnover rate of inventory and Sales order on time delivery rate did not improved much after ERP go-live.People were not trust the data which provided from the ERP application,and there are too much human intervention to the system data.The data quality which input to ERP application is not good and it caused the inaccurate planning result,which results in the unsmooth connection between production and operation,and finally leads to the delay of delivery of order.Through AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)we find that if we need to improve the accuracy of the result of ASCP we should imporoved the data quality of ERP application first.Through IP-MAP module,we can have a clear picture about the data geberation flow,for any data quality issue,we can identify the process which happened the data issue and find out the root cause for it.For the finding issue we need find out the the corresponding solution to fix it and keep on monitoring.Data quality improvement is an on-going task,In this thesis we combined the theory of PDCA cycle and the characteristics of ASCP rolling plan,put forward a comprehensive data PDCA cycle based on the concept of quality management,and constantly improve the data quality of ERP,improve the trust degree of date accuracy from ERP system,and ultimately improve the enterprise's order delivery rate and inventory turnover rate.Reduce the pressure on cash;improve the market competitiveness of enterprises.
