Design And Implementation Of Online Ability Evaluation System

In order to survive,develop and stand out among competition,an enterprise is required to comprehensively improve the management level.Further education and training for the employees carried out by the enterprise is an essential condition to promote constant improvement of the knowledge and professional skills of the employees,and to secure the sustainable development and the competitive advantages of the enterprise.The online assessment system is designed to achieve paperless management on tests and examinations.The assessment is carried out through the Internet or the local area network(LAN),and the system makes it convenient for the management of the assessment as well as those who participate in the assessment.Especially,the system is designed for the situation,under which the assessment objects are widely spread and not easy to be gathered together.The system is based on the LNMPJ technology architecture,which mainly designs,develops and implements an internal online competence assessment system in the enterprise.The functions of the system mainly include user management,question bank management,test paper management,exam management,and competence assessment and analysis.This paper mainly introduces the whole process of requirement analysis,function design and development,and system integration test for the online competence assessment system,and offers a detailed description of the design process of the online competence assessment system with the entity relationship diagrams and process flow diagrams.This paper consists of five parts,which are feasibility study,the selection of technology architecture,requirement analysis,system design and implementation,and system test and acceptance.In terms of feasibility study,this paper demonstrates the feasibility of the online competence assessment system from technology,economy and operation;in terms of technology architecture,this paper starts from the overview of LNMPJ technology and introduces the implementation idea of the architecture of Zend Framework-based website;in terms of requirement analysis,the paper first collects the original requirements,then analyzes the requirements from service representation,requirement modelling and data modelling,and breaks down the analysis into modules;this paper offers an integrated solution for the system in terms of the system application architecture,overall design of system functions and the design of database,and then provides the implementation methods and surface charts for the modules such as the modules of user management, question bank management,test paper management,exam management,and competence assessment and analysis.In addition,for the non-functional security and performance requirements,the paper elaborates the implementation ideas;and finally,for the test and acceptance of the system,the paper verifies the functional requirements from the activities of management,exams and review of exam questions as compared with the requirement modeling,and conducts the tests and acceptance concerning performance and stress with Apache Bench;it is then revealed from the analysis of the results that the whole system complies with the design requirements.This paper intends to implement an online competence assessment system with an efficient and highly scalable architecture free of charge to satisfy the requirements of enterprises for human resource management.The whole online competence assessment system is designed based on the currently popular,low-cost and high-performance LNMPJ Web server architecture: the applications are deployed on the server with Linux OS,Ngnix is adopted as the high-performance HTTP and reverse proxy server,as well as POP3/SMTP proxy server;for the database,the small relational database,My SQL is adopted;and the scripting language PHP is embedded into HTML with Javascript and j Query technology for web development.The combination of these technologies makes an efficient and highly scalable web service architecture free of charge.The whole set of system features friendly interface,easy good operability and easy maintenance,satisfying all the requirements of the enterprise for online competence assessment.
