Research On The Constjruction Of Quality Evaluation System Of Community Library Services

In recent years,with the country paying more and more attention on to citizen spiritual civilization construction,the development of libraries attracts more and more attention.Community libraries are continuously rising,but lots of problems follow.A judge condition and standard is needed on how to promote better and faster development of community libraries and how to make community libraries better satisfy readers'practical demands.However,there hasn't been a unified standard or indicator system aiming at evaluating community libraries in China.Under this background,in order to understand community libraries construction situations and readers'satisfaction degree to community libraries,this article applies fuzzy analytic hierarchy process,builds a community library service quality evaluation system consisting of 6 first-level indicators including service environment resource,service human resource,service information resource,service efficiency,service promotion and service supervision and guarantee and 23 second-level indicators,applies the evaluation system in community library operation practice by judging community library service based on readers' rating evaluation.Finally,the article proposes improvement strategies for community library service quality according to readers' rating of each indicator about community library.The article sets community libraries in Fuzhou,where the writer lives,as survey object,applies investigation measures including field visits to community libraries in Fuzhou,interviews with administrators of community libraries in Fuzhou and questionnaires to readers of community libraries,conducts complete investigation and evaluation on community libraries in Fuzhou using community service quality evaluation system built and discovered that community libraries in Fuzhou still have various problems including low availability,low popularity and ragged building construction.The writer hopes that measures,including joint development of library,company and government,strengthening publicity of each channel and launching more activities close to community residence,will promote the development of community libraries in China,stimulate readers' initiative,improve community library evaluation index given by readers and carry forward the new age of whole society nationwide reading.
