Research On The Evaluation Of Digital Resources Service Of University Library Based On Analytic Hierarchy Process

With the advent of the era of big data,the library's collection model,service methods,and user use methods have all undergone tremendous changes.This has brought tremendous challenges to the development of the library itself.Library's digital resources have broken through the limitations of time and space.Under the catalysis of the information age,its number has rapidly increased and its scale has continued to expand.It has occupied an increasingly important position in the library's literature resources.Digital resources have many advantages such as rapid retrieval,easy and comprehensive,so as to get the favor of many users.In this context,in order to enable the library to more fully recognize that the library is currently in an era of digital transformation and it clearly recognizes the challenges faced by digital resource services.In order to solve the problems of different development levels of digital resource services,low levels of digital resource services,improve the overall level of digital resource services in libraries,continuously strengthen the quality of digital resource services,and better provide teachers and students with personalized digital resource services.This thesis attempts to build a set of comprehensive evaluation system about the university library digital resources services.Through its scientific evaluation and analysis and focus on its strengths and weaknesses to propose development direction and improvement suggestion of the university library digital resources.Thus promoting the sustainable development of university libraries' digital resources.The thesis investigates the literature on digital resource service of university library through literature and Internet,studies the related research results of digital resource service in university library and conbines the methods of expert investigation.In order to build a set of comprehensive evaluation system about the university library digital resources services form four aspects,which are digital resource content,digital resource retrieval,digital resource consulting and user usage.Then using analytic hierarchy process to calculate all index weight to construct the evaluation model of university library's digital resource service.Finally,using the evaluation model to rate the digital resource service of three university libraries,which are Wuhan University,Anhui University and Jinling Institute of Technology.Then summarized,compared and analyzed the result of evaluation to get the improvement direction of digital resource service in university library.The main content of this thesis mainly includes six parts.The first part is introduction.This part mainly introduces the research background and significance,summarizes the domestic and foreign research status of digital resource service in university libraries,research contents and methods,innovation points of research.The second part is about the construction of the university library digital resources services evaluation.It first defines the construction principles of evaluation index system.Then through the reference,summary and expert investigation to construct a set of evaluation index system of digital resource service of university library with 4 primary indexes and 20 secondary indexes.Then explain all the primary and secondary evaluation indicators.The fourth and fifth parts are the core content of this article.The third and fourth parts are the core content of this thesis.The third part introduces the definition of digital resources,the concept and calculation steps of analytic hierarchy process,uses the analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weight of digital resource service's evaluation index.In order to construct the final evaluation system model of digital resource service of university library.The fourth part is the research and analysis of the digital resource service's evaluation system of university library.Using the digital resource service's evaluation model of university library to evaluate the digital resource service of three university libraries.Then uses the form of questionnaire to score the each index and getting the evaluation result.Finally,analyze its achievements and shortcomings.The fifth part is the suggestion to improve the digital resource service of university library.Through the last part of the various levels of university library digital resources service work situation analysis.It sums up that the future development of digital resources service should strengthen the construction of library digital resources'content,strengthen the construction of library digital resources' system,strengthen the construction of digital resources consulting services and pay attention to the cultivation of users.The sixth part is the summary.This part introduces the achievements and shortcomings of the research,and rauises the prospect for the future research work.The innovation point of this article is not only to evaluate the construction of digital resources itself.It pays more attention to the services provided by the digital resources for the user and user satisfaction.It evaluates the implementation of digital resource service in university library with the overall perspective.It will make the evaluation result more scientific and reasonable.
