With the economic development,the continuous improvement of living standards,art collection programs in the community has been widespread concern,and in the past two years led to the public collection of heat.CCTV and some local television stations have launched their own art collection program,the initial ratings have been rising up.But with the advent of various collections,the audience began to criticize the various problems in the program,and said the interest in such programs is declining,which led to the audience attention to the collection of works of art gradually decreased.The audience in the process of watching the program demand for the program has always been changing,the audience needs over time,the content of the demand will be different.Why the current art collection program will be criticized by the audience,why the audience will lose interest in such programs,the audience want to see what kind of program,and so these questions are very worth thinking and research.Through the study of a large number of literatures,this study found that there is little research on the psychological needs of the audience of art collection programs,and there is no qualitative method to study such problems.In this paper,the theory of Maslow 's demand hierarchy is used to analyze the psychology of the audience in a qualitative way,and how to make up the shortcomings of the new era.To take the purpose of sampling the way,after a long period of observation and in-depth and meticulous interviews to understand the most respected psychological needs of the audience,through the root of the theoretical study of the audience will be satisfied with the program and dissatisfied with the deep excavation,repeated Comparison and analysis of the problem between the use of coding to build a theoretical framework to reveal the audience for the psychological needs of the collection of works of art.The results show that the psychological needs of the audience of the art collection program are aggravated and complicated,and they are affected by both the internal factors and the external factors.Most of the respondents are concerned about the orientation and content of the program.The On the other hand,different audiences do not have the same level of demand for the program,with their own understanding of the collection of works of art,psychological needs will have a low to high process.And the author in the process of constructing the analysis of the framework found that the psychological needs of the audience in line with Maslow's theory of demand hierarchy,through the theory linked to further analysis of the characteristics of the audience needs and mechanisms.
