Now more and more libraries have begun to use RFID technology,compared to the traditional "bar code+agnetic stripe" technology,the application of RFID technology for library management is a huge innovation and upgrading.RFID has a lot of features,such as long distance reading,non-line-of-sight reading,so that it is not only "bar code+agnetic stripe" simple alternatives,but also allows the library to provide more personalized service.In this paper,RFID technology is the main research object.We designed and developed smart library system,basing on a set of ultra-high frequency RFID technology.The whole system is composed by the borrow-retum and anti-theft module as well as mobile-phone query module.Borrow-retun and anti-theft module is used in the library,the main function of this module is to facilitate the reader in borrowing or returning books.Borrow-retum and anti-theft module has two subsystems,self-help machine subsystem and intelligent security door subsystem.The mobile-phone query module's main role is to provide searching books function in mobile phone for readers.This module was composed by mobile-phone APP subsystem and WeChat Public Account subsystem.Borrow-return and anti-theft module is the focus of this paper.In addition,this paper proposes an algorithm based on the relationship between RSSI and distance variation of UHF tags.The main goal of this algorithm is to reduce the false positives probability of intelligent security gate.In traditional libraries,borrowing books is a time-consuming and laborious work for both the reader and the library staff.on bar code technology,reader borrowed more books,the more time would be consumed.However,reader can borrow many books on one step with RFID-based self-help machine,which greatly reducing the burden on staff.The self-help machine subsystem was composed by the Ul module,book scanning module,library card scanning module and database module.The focus of the research on intelligent security gate is to realize an algorithm for reducing the multi-readability of the library security gate based on RSSI.It uses the following features of UHF RFID tags:when the tag is far from the reader antenna,its RSSI value is more gentle with distance changes,and when the tag is closer to the reader antenna,its RSSI value changes with distance intensely.For the above characteristics,the RSSI value of the tag signal is fitted,and the exclusion of the fitting effect is only accidentally read,not the reader carrying the label through the security gate.Thus improving the accuracy of intelligent security door.Smart Library APP and WeChat Public Account subsystem play a similar role,to facilitate the reader by providing access to the book information in mobile-phone.However,there are some differences between this two subsystes in terms of ease of use,interface aesthetics,and readers' willingness to use.Readers can choose intelligent library APP or wisdom library public number according to their own needs.The whole system can simplify the process of borrowing books also enhance the reader's user experience.
