| With the rapid development of communication technologies and digital libraries, mobile phone has been gradually utilized in the fields of digital library service, it extend to traditional library service by using mobile phone. Mobile phone library provides the users with a virtual library, users can access to library to get resource without restriction of time and space. With the development of3G technology, the developing conditions of mobile phone library based on3G gradually is mature,3G technology has the characteristics of high mobility, high communicating rate and convenient access, the construction of mobile phone library is easier, and the library service is richer. Therefore, in the3G environment mobile phone library will provide new service areas and prospective, and also can broaden the ways for the people to acquire knowledge.This paper consists of six chapters:the first chapter is the introduction, it mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic, the status of domestic and foreign research, the research contents and method are also included. The second chapter summarizes the3G technology, four technical standards of WCDMA, CMDA, TD-SCDMA and WiMAX, the characteristics, application and the development status at home and abroad. The third chapter analyzes the feasibility of the application3G in mobile library fields from the user, technology, terminal and library aspects. The fourth chapter constructs the service of mobile phone library based on3G, and explains the constructing principle, platform construction and functional design. The fifth chapter puts forward the strategies of the development of mobile phone library in following ways:security strategy, resource, Mobile Library Consortium, personalized service, human resource development, the training of users and so on. The last chapter concludes the whole work, and discusses the future work. |
