Research On Citizen Video Journalism Development Status

In February 2005,the video sharing website "founder" Youtube was established in the United States,after the original success relies on strong interaction and content.Along with the streaming media technology and broadband technology breakthrough about 2006 year,a large number of video sharing sites imitated Youtube rapidly rise.Since then,in the streets,the scene,there are always a part of persons taking with DV,camera or cell phone making the fresh everywhere vaiuabie observations taken timeiy and quickly upload network,allows users to share in the first time the news dissemination content by the broad masses of users.Network video journalism from folk quickly popular makes fzone arise at the historic momen.Which is very active and vibrant "pat guest" is often not professional journalists,but they has acted an important role of journalists that can't report video news in time for a variety of reasons.From the hand of folk and the grassroots not journalists,video journalism is known as citizen videojournalism.Citizen video journalism greatly enriches the news source,ang is another technical configuration,following the BBS,blog,news,weibo etc.At present,in our country citizen video journalism spreading position mainly concentrates in the fzone channels of some sites,like sina,youku.Now,the development momentum of fzone channels is swift and violent in our country network,especially played a positive role and significance in the sudden public events,and aroused people's great attention,and became a very worthy of study culture phenomenon.Studying citizen video journalism as the cultural phenomenon with strong practical significance,is a value researched in this paper.This paper on the basis of predecessors' research results,first of all to define citizen video journalism,and summarizes the development history of citizen video journalism at home and abroad.Second,from the culture,innovation of technology and the web site three aspects specific analysis rapid development of the citizen video journalism in the new media age.This paper also specially selected for a period of time of fzone channels of sina and youku as a source of sample collection,and adopted content analysis method to scientifically describe the development status of citizen video journalism in our country.Use the case method,from the perspective of journalism and communication to interpret features of citizen video journalism.Use qualitative analysis to summarize the present problems of the citizen video journalism,and strategies are discussed to try to avoid these issues.
