Collection And Statistical Analysis Of References In Chinese Academic Writings

Centered by specialized issues with innovative and theoretical works,academic writings are those books that can fulfill its theory and be valuable.It plays an important role in scientific research activities.References are the literature information resources referenced for the author or editor to write or edit papers and books,interacting between literatures and playing an important role in scientific performance evaluation.Collection and statistical analysis of references in Chinese academic works have certain academic value for enriching and developing bibliometric and have a high application value for supporting the construction of "Chinese Books Citation Database".Firstly,the paper investigates the current situation regarding the practice of collection,statistical analysis and theoretically researches of references in Chinese academic works.Google Book,BkCI of Web of Science and Scopus,as three databases,have been found and started to collect references of books.But they mainly biased in Western countries English books.Secondly,based on The National Achievement.s Library of Philosophy and Social Sciences it studies references in the Chinese academic works,practices statistical analysis for reference position,the format of book reference organization and literature cataloging,finds out situation and existing problems of references in the Chinese academic writings,and puts forward suggestions.Thirdly,the paper investigates a variety of domestic and international metadata standards,especially MARC,DC,MODS,Chinese digital library standards and core information resource metadata,and develops a reference library metadata.Fourthly,based on The National Achievements Library of Philosophy and Social Sciences,the paper does"Source Book" data collection,including the collection of books MARC data,correction of MARC data and supplementary of author data and abstract.Then,based on The National Achievements Library of Philosophy and Social Sciences,it studies the references collection methods,develops a reference document acquisition program and practices a reference library acquisition and construction based on the library.Fifthly,the paper performs a statistical analysis of academic work references,document types,publication date,publishers and other regions,finds out the situation and existing problems of Chinese academic writings cited references,points out academic works cited law and core Press and puts forward some suggestions to promote academic work applications.The main innovation aspects of the paper are as follows:(1)It empirically analyzes the current situation of bibliographic status of Chinese academic writings references and references cite,finds that existing problems of bibliographic reference and provides the reference to the reference data acquisition and normative description behavior.(2)It innovates the Chinese academic writings reference collection method and develops data cleaning program for the principles of meta-search engine and forms a set of effective reference collection program,providing the basis for the building of Chinese Books Reference Data Acquisition Sites.(3)It forms a Chinese Books MARC bibliographic database with references and provides the data foundation for the construction of Chinese Books citation database.
