Research On Prosperity Of "The Xinmin Evening News" In The Early 1960s

China Evening News,with different features from party newspaper, is an important part of socialist newspaper in China. Culture development is a special area involved in the development of society. It's influenced by political and economic and it also has its unique value. Newspapers, as an information carrier, can show its own development status through the way of expressing the information contained. What's more, the newspaper content can also be a sign of other fields of the society development.This paper focus on the short prosperity of culture in the 1860s and takes the text of "The XinMin Evening News" from 1957 to 1967 as the research object. By analyzing the characteristics and content changes of the newspaper articles, I'll reveal the reporting style changes of "The XinMin Evening News" during this period and the general situation in the field of culture reflected by these changes. In the process of research, literature analysis, content analysis and comparative analysis will be used and the history of The Communist Party of China, journalism and culture development will be studied to reveal the cause of this temporary prosperity and find the enlightenment it brought to us.The article is divided into five parts in the structure:The first part is about the research purpose and meaning, the current research status of various fields and this paper's research method and sampling method, etc; The second part mainly introduces the related historical background, including the time background, the development of the evening newspaper, and the history of which provides the basis of defining the concept of'prosperity';The third part contains the analysis of the "The XinMin Evening News" content and the cultural development. The news content is divided into three parts:news (front), speech and supplement. The analysis of culture will cover from books, movies, art, music and dance, and other fields; In addition, the development of "The XinMin Evening News" during 1957 and 1962 will be divided into four stages according to the major political events. Specific conditions and difference of news reports and cultural field during each stage will be analyzed in detail. In the fourth part, I'll find reasons for such changes from two aspects of the political and the newspaper industry development according to the content involved in the third part; In the last part of the article, taking history as a mirror, enlightenment from the short prosperity will be discussed, which will promote the development of newspaper industry and the whole culture areas.
