| Based on the risk society theory and news frame theory,this article chooses respectfully two newspapers of mainland and Taiwan as sample.By comparing and analyzing the news and comment of mainland Fuxi expired meat event and Taiwan Qiangguan illegal cooking oil event which both belong to food safety affair generating severe impact in China,this article specifically analyzes how these newspapers recombining and reproducing the risk issues in the news frame concerning media attention,discourse types,reporting issue,information source,target of news-report and reporting tone,as well as the similarities and differences.This article makes out conclusions as follows.Firstly,the authoritative information source of both mainland and Taiwan newspapers is the main risk definer;secondly,both mainland and Taiwan newspapers lay emphasis on the news but lack of comment which could give a depth report;thirdly,in reporting issue these media conduct consistent at main issues while make a big different at other issues and reporting tone.This article overall,the reporting frame of mainland newspapers is consensus,while Taiwan newspapers have an obvious tendency to political conflict.Based on the above conclusion,this article analyzes the reasons of similarities and differences generated by these newspapers constructing risk in terms of media operate,media value,psychology,history and culture.In the end,this article put forward the substantive suggestions and countermeasures.This article holds that media constructs risk,and then food risk communication affects people's perception to food risk.In this global risk society,especially different political identify between mainland and Taiwan nowadays,comparing and analyzing cross-strait newspapers concerning food risk reporting,realizing different media spectacles and the reason behind will make positive significant to promote a benign interaction to the cross-strait economic trade. |
