January 22,2013,the Philippines unilaterally submitted to the South China Sea issue of international arbitration.After three and a half years of long process,the Hague International Tribunal finally announced the arbitral award on 12 July 2016.The Philippines "victory",the ruling together to damage the interests of the two sides of the sea.And through Taiwan's two mainstream newspapers on the report of this incident,on the one hand can be learned from the current Taiwan newspaper industry in the cross-strait-related issues reported,showing a state of what,and the impact of these reports related factors;On the basis of full possession of first-hand information and research literature on the Taiwan mainstream newspapers in the South China Sea arbitration incident reported diachronic synthesis and induction in the study using quantitative research methods,comparative analysis of the two newspapers,hoping to enrich Research on Taiwanese Newspapers.This paper chooses Taiwan's two mainstream newspapers,"United Daily News" and "Liberty Times".Based on the framework theory,this paper chooses 469 reports on the South China Sea arbitration as a sample,from the number of reports,The article reports the content lifecycle,the coverage of the topic,the report position,the source of the message and the content of the text.The content analysis and the text analysis are carried out respectively,and the two news reports framework for the arbitration event is presented.The process and the differences between the two newspapers due to political stand-by tendencies.According to the sample analysis,it is found that the two newspapers have very obvious differences in the reports of the arbitration events.The main differences are reflected in the three aspects of the coverage,coverage and sources.Secondly,the content bias of the two news sources The difference between the two sources is that the frame competition between the sources is mainly reflected in the different stages of the life cycle of the problem.There are differences in the framework of the two reports,and there are three significant differences in the reporting position.After analyzing the text frame of the two newspapers,it is found that there are different levels of "language violence" in the two newspapers,especially the "Liberty Times" is more prominent.This paper argues that the reports of the two reports on the arbitration in the South China Sea will be different from each other's political parties' positions,and make a completely different interpretation of other related events or characters that occur around the incident,and construct a different Society "real".
