Research On OA System For Listed Company

Companies usually have strict requirements for workflow operation and content management during the production process. For the rapidly-growing medium or large-sized enterprises, the traditional ways of office may increase office cost, while the efficiency decreases as a result of the transaction and unstructured content size increase exponentially. To solve this problem, the most effective solution is to gradually replace the traditional office with office automation.Office automation refers to the use of information technology in assistant for traditional office in order to achieve energy efficiency and reducing consumption. Under the protection of the communication network, office software running on PC, smart phone, iPad and other terminals meet the office needs of various departments, such a system is the OA (Office Automation, referred to as OA) system.The OA systems appeared in China in 1990s, it was initially implemented by outsource, and only a small part was self-developed. After 2005, the independent development began to heat up, after about ten years of rapid development, there have been numerous OA solution providers in the market. The vast majority of medium-sized enterprises have deployed their own OA systems, with office efficiency improved to a certain extent, and the cost is controlled accordingly. However, until now, the OA system development in a production environment also exposes many problems, including capital investment, redundant construction and poor scalability, which has prompted some companies to abandoned it and impeded more companies from using it.Microsoft SharePoint is an intelligent collaboration platform provided by Microsoft, it provides comprehensive content management and information integration, business people will be able to connect customers and the content seamlessly. More importantly, the highly customizable, highly scalable, innate good for MS Office compatibility and the easy migration to Microsoft Azure of the platform is a very good solution to the problems of the existing OA systems.We conducted a study based on Microsoft SharePoint platform to developed a new generation of OA system which is customizable, scalable, and can be easily migrated. The system has been customized and deployed for Jiangsu Yabang dye Limited (603 188). This paper introduces the research process, and the major problems encountered are discussed.
