In recent years,overseas Chinese learning has been developing at a younger age.In Indonesia,Chinese teaching in trilingual kindergartens has found a multi-course teaching system based on language knowledge,among which the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry has also become a more prominent course.At present,the teaching of overseas children's ancient poetry is still in its infancy,and there are many problems in teaching that need to be improved,but there is still a lack of attention and research.Therefore,how to develop the teaching of ancient poetry for the second language learners becomes an urgent problem in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.From the perspective of game teaching method,this paper analyzes the current situation of game teaching method in children's ancient Chinese poetry class by using classroom observation,questionnaire and interview,investigates its teaching effect,and puts forward some teaching suggestions for the problems in the implementation of game teaching method of ancient Chinese poetry.Teaching practice found that the ancient poetry game teaching method can not only improve children's interest in learning,but also consolidate the teaching content.But there are also some problems in teaching,such as the great mobility of overseas teachers,which leads to the inconsistency of teachers' teaching ideas;the class hours of ancientpoetry are few,so that students do not have enough time to learn ancient poetry;the teaching content of ancient poetry is not suitable,so it is difficult to develop the teaching of ancient poetry systematically.Therefore,on the basis of summing up the teaching experience,the author puts forward some suggestions from the following aspects on the teaching of ancient poetry for overseas children,such as purpose,interest,participation and pertinence.Then some advice is given in terms of the design of ancient poetry game.Finally,the author comes up with proposals from three levels of teachers,students and teaching organization.
